Vinaltura is a family project founded in 2006 by Hans Duer, passionate about Mexican wine and terroir, with the aim of reflecting passion and terroir in his wine labels. At Vinaltura, winemaking becomes an art. Through micro-vinifications and minimal intervention, Vinaltura's limited productions offer the ultimate celebration of the terroir, with an average of 3,500 bottles per label. 

Their winemaker, Hugo D'Acosta, is known for his talent and respect for the environment and nature. Vinaltura's exclusive wines are the result of the perfect combination of technological innovation, qualified human factors, and the best control and quality practices. With vinifications of only 1000 litres, each wine expresses the varietals and the love applied to the winemaking processes, allowing the taster to experience the unique expression of each year. Winemaker

Hugo D'Acosta

Hugo D'Acosta (left) was one of the first Mexican winemakers and is renowned for his support of the national wine industry. Before founding his own winery, he studied agricultural engineering in Querétaro and oenology in Montpellier, France and Turin, Italy. He has a wealth of experience having been his first vintage in 1982 in Saint Emilion, France. In addition, he was winemaker and plant manager at Bodegas Santo Tomás, one of the first wineries in Mexico with worldwide  recognition.
